Sightseeing in Shibuya and Shinjuku

Today, we had numerous attractions on our agenda again.

First, we took the metro to Shibuya to see the “Shibuya Crossing.” It is the busiest pedestrian crossing in the world. We found it incredible how orderly the crowds cross the street here when the light is green. It was amazing to watch so many people simultaneously crossing the street diagonally from all directions without it becoming chaotic. We then crossed the crosswalk multiple times ourselves and found it fascinating. After that, we went to the Hachiko statue. I couldn't believe my eyes when I spotted the statue and the endlessly long line in front of it. Since we didn't necessarily want a photo alone with Hachiko, we just took some pictures casually.

There were many Starbucks in the area, and as a reward, we treated ourselves to a delicious frappuccino with lots of whipped cream. Feeling well-fed and a bit sugared up, we walked to Yoyogi Park. The park reminded me a bit of Central Park in New York. It wasn't as large as Central Park, but it had some noteworthy sections.
