From Santiago to Temuco
From Santiago our path led us to Temuco. Through incredibly green landscape, cherry trees, apricots... and often with a view of the great high mountains. Part of the way led us...

From Temuco we continued to Villarica, where we extensively admired the volcanic Villarica and enjoyed a 'beach day'. The Villarica volcano is active and we were able to see it smoking and glowing at night. Now we are heading towards Argentina. Once again on gravel roads. In the evening, we camped at hot springs, of which there are many here and the Chileans also love them. When it's over 40 degrees, Kai also enjoys bathing... The next day took us to the Corirrine Pass. We were on the road for almost 8 hours and covered about 35 km, pushing for at least 3 hours. We were both exhausted, but as Kai so nicely said: That's why it's so peaceful. In the evening, we even found a campsite with a small shop (very important) Magnificent landscape, a spot right by the water and we were the only guests... Yesterday we arrived in San Martin de los Andes, where we are taking it easy today. The dust has been washed off - at least from us - our bikes look forbidden, but it's not worth cleaning them because the next gravel road will definitely come 😁 Warm greetings to home!
