From Santiago to Temuco

From Santiago our path led us to Temuco. Through incredibly green landscape, cherry trees, apricots... and often with a view of the great high mountains. Part of the way led us on the highway. It is probably not explicitly prohibited here, except in the greater Santiago area, but it felt strange to ride our bikes through an 8-lane toll station... Kai, being polite as he is, asked if we had to pay anything.... but since bicycles are not provided for, they don't cost anything. The first tire was caught by a rusty nail shortly before Molina. Too bad for the new tire, but luckily there was a replacement in town. Cycling was very pleasant, the weather too. There were always nice little towns to take a break or spend the night. If there was no hospedaje, we found a nice spot for our tent. We just had to stay far enough away from the town to avoid unwelcome visits from dogs. It's incredible how many dogs there are here. We arrived in Temuco already around noon and spent a nice day there.
