From the East Coast to the West Coast

And we continue down the east coast. From Taitung we go to Fangliao on the east coast and then to Kaohsiung and Tainan, where we take a break for two days because Kai is still coughing. The route to the east coast is great and very quiet because there is a highway with a long tunnel and of course cars and especially trucks drive there. Unfortunately, the two roads meet again in a construction site and numerous trucks overtake us with what feels like 0 distance. Since it was also very windy, I was happy when the piece was over. It was only a few minutes, maybe 5km, but it was enough. A coffee shop by the sea made up for it!

The coffee supply is really very good. The prices too! Our maximum price is currently 9.40 for 2 cappucchini. Then you save yourself the cake 🎂 and hopefully your stomach will thank you (or so Kai hopes)

The smaller hotels and hostels in the countryside often don't have breakfast, but we were always able to find something there too. If necessary, there is always 7eleven.
