It is November 1st, also a holiday in Spain, and also the 1st rainy day of my entire trip. So I'm using the time for a work session and a cozy breakfast.
Today it seems to be raining all day, so I have to motivate myself to go out and explore Besalú. Honestly, I have no idea what to expect there on a holiday. Is it going to be deserted? Or is there a special event? Judging by the relatively full parking lot, something must be happening there today.
Besalú is a beautiful, small, touristy town with beautiful photo spots.
The atmosphere reminds me a bit of a medieval Christmas market. I treat myself to a portion of Churros con Chocolate. :)
The rain has made it chilly and for the first time, I long for a heater in my van or a solid accommodation... So I continue driving in the evening and enjoy the heater during the journey.
