We walk to Tortuga Playa in the morning. It's already so hot at 8:30 am and then we walk 3 km through a cactus landscape. Phew! Sweat is running and running. Finally, we have to find a place in the shade. It's Saturday and the beach is crowded. Which of course doesn't bother the iguanas, pelicans, little sharks, and other birds. Humans have to consider the animals here, the park guards are very careful about that. The water is refreshing and beautiful. Pure relaxation. Swimming iguanas and sharks passing by, but we didn't see any turtles. In the afternoon, we take the water taxi back because it's still hot. Too hot to walk 3 km through the cactus forest again. In the evening, we eat at a restaurant right by the water. Jois is flying to Quito tomorrow and Ralf and I will go by boat to Isla Isabela - just the two of us. But everything is already well organized by our Galapagos experts.
