March 17th, Isla Santa Cruz

A trip to the iguanas and the blue-footed booby. A small island where the animals can live and breed undisturbed, except for the tourist visits. Then by boat to Las Grietas. A gorge 2 km away from the coast, filled with seawater and thus having an underground access to the sea. Swimming and snorkeling is a must. The deep blue water is clear, reflecting the sun rays, fish are swimming around, it's so beautiful. After the first refreshing swim, since it's very, very hot, we look for a nice spot to snorkel in the sea. Ralf, full of enthusiasm, jumps into the water immediately, but he forgot to take off his hat. Others are horrified and there is a lot of laughter. In the afternoon, we return to the port.
