Day 2 - Tampa - Cayman Islands

Today we woke up early. The jetlag is still greeting us 😊 

After breakfast, we drove off with our rental car. Ryan found a great spot. So great that we suddenly ended up in Air Force territory. Typical Swiss tourists. With a friendly smile, Ryan asked if we could visit the 'island'. Of course, we were not allowed to. It was legendary and we laughed about it for a long time. 

After that, we drove to Picnic Island. There is a beach from where you can see Clearwater and St. Petersburg. 

Unfortunately, we didn't have much time. Our flight to the Cayman Islands was at 3:15 pm.

Now we have arrived at Margaritaville. A beautiful resort with a paradise feeling ☀️🌺🍹 we have a room with a small seating area. 

Finally, we went a little outside the hotel. In a small place called Peppers. We had a cold beer resp. Pinot Grigio and burgers with sweet potatoes.
