January 16, 2024 Day at sea / Cape Horn

In the morning I enjoyed the entertaining Lisa Phillips' final lecture: "How To Make Yourself Happy." According to Lisa Phillips, I'm doing pretty much everything right.

We reached Cape Horn in the early afternoon. According to the captain's announcement, he had never experienced the cape with such calm winds, which resulted in good visibility and little swell and the ship could be driven closer to the coast. We were able to see the Albatross monument, which is dedicated to those who died while circumnavigating the Cape, and other buildings very well. Then our journey continued.
