We did not expect that life would awaken on Saturday morning at 9:00 am in the parking lot far out by the cliffs. Shortly after the specified time, the first city bus passed by us, followed by the food truck and the coffee mobile, which began setting up tables and chairs. By around 10:00 am, everything was ready, and the first guests arrived by car, motorcycle, and tour bus. We asked when the first churros would be ready in the food truck's fryer but were unfortunately disappointed by the answer. In the morning, there would only be soft drinks, beer, and sandwiches; churros from the fryer would only be available from 3:00 pm.

So our breakfast remained as simple as almost every day. After our morning coffee and a few slices of bread, we packed our things and walked to the lighthouse and the lookout point next door.

By the time we returned to Gary, it was still not late enough for the fryer to be on at the food truck, so unfortunately, churros were off the menu today.

We continued to the next service area near Alcácer do Sal. The route today took us over some very damaged roads; however, it went through cork plantations, and we could look at as many cork oaks as we wanted.

At the campsite for tonight, we were greeted in English, but when the guy recognized our license plate, he immediately switched to German. He showed us the large courtyard where bamboo and trees were growing and said we could park wherever we wanted. We chose a spot a bit further from the house. Here lived a small community of friends who had become like family. Some had been there for a few weeks, others for years. The pigs, sheep, chickens, and geese were right behind the house. We could also book yoga classes.

For dinner, we were invited to an all-you-can-eat pizza night at a friendship price, and wood was already burning in the wood-fired pizza oven.

The bar was already open, but it was still too early for us for cocktails.

We first took a tour of the grounds before taking a break at Gary's.

The day before yesterday, we had specifically bought salad ingredients and were wondering what to do now; the vegetables were already wilting, but pizza just sounded too good. So we sat down in the communal kitchen, chopped our salad, and simply put it out for everyone on the counter along with the pizzas.

We spent the evening at Basti's bar and once again met a number of new people; some lived here, while others were traveling.

After plenty of pizza, mojito, and caipirinha, we went to bed full and satisfied.
