A special campsite

We continued towards Brest, today heading to Ploubazlanec. From the name of the place, you could already tell that we were now in the heart of Brittany. It was Friday, and we planned not to travel over the weekend, so we were looking for a campsite until Sunday.

When we arrived at our planned campsite, Rohou, it was unfortunately already fully booked. However, the operators had recently taken over an additional old campsite just a few streets away, which had not yet been renovated but was operational. This site was called Camping Paou. So, we would spend the weekend here, in beautiful surroundings on a truly unique campsite.

After choosing a nice pitch, it was time to set up the awning, as it was worth it for two days, and we had been carrying it with us for weeks, so it needed to be used at least once.

Then we took a detour to the harbor and bought tickets for the crossing to the island of Bréhat. A visit to the archipelago was our plan for tomorrow, Saturday.
