Sebb had packed part of the purchase price in cash so that the seller knew how serious we were. He then gathered the sales documents, contract, registration papers, vehicle registration documents parts 1 and 2, etc., and then the paperwork was done. Since the bus had a nice seating area in the rear, the perfect place for signing the contract was, of course, in the car.
Neither of us knew which lines in the documents needed to be filled out; it was simply a matter of following the template. Fortunately, the ADAC offered an almost foolproof paper template that we could use.
Sebb received the papers he needed for the registration and promised to promptly handle the registration at the vehicle registration office the following week, as well as to take out the insurance necessary for the registration. The seller temporarily kept the keys to the vehicle until the registration was completed.
