Today morning we were woken up by the rain β. So the farewell from Helsinki was not difficult. We traveled with the high-speed shipπ of Lindaline. It is at least the fastest ferry connection. In Tallinn, the ship stopped behind the Linnahall (a multipurpose hall from 1980, when the Soviet Union hosted the Olympic Games). We had not even 200m to the Tallinnk Express Hotel. These were enough to get soaking wet. We had our lunch at the hotel because of the weather. Really delicious buffet meal at a good price. π After that, the weather was good to us, the sun π was shining. We shared the sights in the lower town with hundreds of cruise tourists. Thankfully, they disappeared in the evening to continue their journey. Today there were 6 cruise ships anchored. On the Domberg (upper town) we visited the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, St. Mary's Cathedral and the castle. On the way back through the lower town, we passed by the wool market. As a conclusion, we passed by a Russian Orthodox church βͺ. We arrived at the right moment. A service had just begun, and we stayed there for about an hour. It was interesting to see how these Christians live out their faith.
For dinner, we had a piece of cake and planned the next day.
