Australia is colder than expected. It has surprisingly many Japanese and English people. Alcohol is extremely expensive. Three people have mistaken us for twins so far.

Cockatoos and the smell of eucalyptus

Spent the whole day hiking in the Blue Mountains (highly recommended) and chasing cockatoos. And because in Australia it's already around 25 degrees in the spring and not a single cloud in the sky, I got a sunburn. The Blue Mountains look like a mix of tropical rainforest and the Grand Canyon.
