Off to vacation # Day 1 Arrival

So today is finally the day 🚆

At 9 o'clock we will drive to the train by car, and then, with a delay - who would have expected anything else from the train - we will take the ICE train to Düsseldorf airport.

After long queues at check-in and security control, I recommend allowing at least 3 hours, we are at the gate and can start our well-deserved vacation 🧳 to Alanya on time with the plane.

After arriving in Antalya, we still have a 2 1/2 hour transfer to Alanya ahead of us.

Tired 💤 but satisfied, we arrive at our hotel at 2:15 am local time. We briefly visit our room at the top of the mountain and then go for a midnight snack and a tasty cocktail. We finally go to bed at 4 am, exhausted.
