From Luxor to El Gouna

We will be picked up at 8am and taken back to El Gouna. Farewell at breakfast and off to the bus. We are traveling back with the German-Turkish tour group and the noise in the bus is deafening. This time it only takes us 6.5 hours 🤦‍♀️ and we arrive at the Ancient Sands Hotel as the last passengers, quite annoyed.

That was our last bus tour for now.

There are constant checkpoints where the guns are pointed at the front.

They are trying to give us a room with a view of the disposal yard as a deluxe room again.

The hotel's website states that the deluxe rooms have a view of the golf course and the sea.

After a long discussion, we finally take such a room.

At least it's relatively warm here today.

Let's hope the remaining days will be relatively good.
