Today we continue to Mosselbay or Dana Bay

The roads are all paved today.

Via Swellendam

and Heidelberg

we head to the next B&B.

Since it's still early, we first drive past the Pinnacle Golf Club to possibly get a tee time. Unfortunately, everything is already booked today and tomorrow.

The golf course is fantastic, but it's actually good that it's fully booked, as it looks very challenging and likely to lose a lot of balls.

Spectacular views of the coast and the sea included.

So we continue to the Mosselbay Golf Club and manage to secure a starting time for 9 holes tomorrow afternoon.

In the afternoon, we check into our room with a really lovely older couple, Anna and Lucas.

The B&B has a nice view of the kilometer-long beach at Danabay. The room is very nice and perfectly clean.

Lucas has plenty of stories to share and it's fun to listen to him. He spent a year in Germany as a professor and can even speak some German.

In the afternoon, we head to Mosselbay, where we enjoy a great meal with a view of the sea.

It's already a bit more touristy here than in Cap Agulhas.

In the evening, we have a fantastic view of the sunset from our terrace.

The next morning at 6:30 AM, I meet a springbok that looks just as startled as I am. Right by our terrace, it looks over the wall.

The breakfast is really good and the conversation with Lucas is very amusing.

After that, we head to the beach.

Dana Bay 2 is truly a beautiful vacation spot with endless beach that is so clean.

We observe fishermen trying to catch a fish from the water. This takes over an hour, and in the end, we understand why. They have caught a shark.

Photos are taken, and then the poor guy is released back into the sea.

In the afternoon we play golf in Mosselbay.

Two young South Africans play with us. The course is beautiful and there are springboks grazing on the greens.

There are rabbits, guineafowl, and stunning views of the Indian Ocean.

We eat at the golf pub again for a very low price.

After that, we drive to Dana Beach 2, which is a bit smaller but just as beautiful.
