The last two weeks have felt both extremely short and at the same time incredibly long. Here’s a little update.
I spent time in Beeskow and Berlin, mainly with my favorite people. In Berlin, that meant meeting friends. We went to a rave at Hamburger Bahnhof, to the Long Night of Museums, to the cinema, enjoyed good food, and strolled through the city. Thank you all for the great time.
In Beeskow, I had a wonderful time with my family. Real time, not just short visits like before when I had what we can call a more structured life. This time reminded me once more of how incredibly wonderful the people I can call my family are, and how important it is to spend time with the people in your heart. One evening, after playing, my nephew asked me if I would stop by again tomorrow. The honest answer would have been: we won't see each other again for another two months.
Now I’m off to my next adventure: the Camino de Santiago awaits me. Today I’m heading to Barcelona, from there by train and bus to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port. My first small success on this journey: the packing list I have been fine-tuning for months seems to be working out. With still some space left for snacks, everything fit into my backpack and it weighs just a tiny bit too much.
