Arriving in Siem Reap in the evening, we checked into the worst and most expensive hotel ($25!!) of our trip so far. To satisfy our hunger and quench our thirst, we went downtown. Here we realized why half the country had come here: the whole city center looked like a fan mile, everyone armed with water guns and baby powder, and we were right in the middle of it ;) A location that was worthy of our last evening together!
The next day, Benno left and at the same time I got a stomach upset. Two unpleasant things and we no longer had time to see Angkor Wat. The farewell was very heartfelt - from now on, I will continue alone ...
