06.11 The Riverside Bar

After a good sleep, I get up at 10:00 am.

During breakfast, we decide to take the day slowly. The breakfast is plentiful. Bacon, cereal, and eggs, along with a variety of other dishes, make us full and happy. We spend the afternoon by the pool. In the evening, we walk to the Riverside Bar, which was recommended to us by Dirk. The bar impresses with a wide selection of craft beers (which are not easy to find in Thailand) and slightly offbeat but entertaining live music. Two beers (weak, I know :P) later, we go back home. 20 minutes later, we are back at the hotel. Tomorrow, a real highlight of my trip so far is coming... A visit to an elephant sanctuary.
