I think this might be the last post, tomorrow one more stop in Czech Republic and probably home on Saturday.
So, after last night it got really slippery, not just the 'dinner' but after the storm I had to refuel and get some wine and sausages. I had to go through the forest in SixDays style on very muddy trails, the V11 can handle a lot but it doesn't do well in mud, so I looked accordingly.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed the peace, except for the flatulent horse.
Today I went through the Puszta and towards the mountains again, this time the inner western Carpathians. It's incredible how fat the Hungarians are, sorry but do some exercise! I saw a slim attractive woman and thought 'finally', but then she got into a car with a Slovakian license plate.
I chose road 526 that snakes up and down at 1000m, unfortunately today was the first time I couldn't avoid the rain, so I had to wear my rain suit and luckily I also had the thick winter gloves which are still waterproof after 20 years, yay. It's still a beautiful road. Now in Zvolen, it started pouring right on time as soon as I arrived at the guesthouse! Timing is sometimes priceless.
