After a delicious breakfast, we took the bus to Palma in the morning. There we were able to drop off our backpacks directly at the hotel and explored the old town. A relief for the feet after the strains of the past few days, as there are no mountains in Palma. Thus, the afternoon passed quickly between the harbor, the cathedral, and the old town. The crowning highlight of our tour was celebrated in a small tapas bar typical of the region. After about 110 km, with 4,300 meters of ascents and just as many meters of descents, one must note that this route is quite demanding. The terrain, with its many stones and scree, requires a certain level of sure-footedness. It was good that we could mostly walk in the shade during the steep sections. A huge thank you to Heiko for the organization, planning, and execution of this tour. Undertaking such a tour with this size of a group demands the utmost respect.
