Our 2nd stage was 62 km long. A strenuous ascent led us to the Rudelsburg. The view was worth it. We continued along the Saale, passing many fields, mountains, and animals (e.g., cows or ostriches). The weather was pleasant. Upon arriving in Jena, we cooled off our feet in the Saale.
Since we spent the night at the church community house in Burgau, we were able to listen to a sermon and a gospel choir.
