Day 3: Ruakaka - Waipoua Forest

The climate in Australia made Thomas a morning person and it was him who suggested a beach walk at sunrise this morning at half past six.

A delicious coffee, a morning dip and off we go...

In search of a place for breakfast, we end up in an idyllic spot. Passing drivers look enviously at our scrambled eggs.

In Waipoua Forest, marvel at the gigantic 'Four Sisters' and the 'Father of the Forest'.

We enjoy the comparatively long evening (it only gets dark at 9 o'clock) at our place, playing Jazzi and looking out onto lush meadows, hills and palm trees.
