Day 38: Singapore - Zurich

2nd March 2019

We arrive at Changi Airport just before midnight. Our flight is 70 minutes delayed (departure at 2:40 am), so we have enough time to take a shower, test the cozy foot massage chairs, and have a cup of coffee. Slowly but surely, we start getting tired as we have been on our feet for almost 20 hours, and we are glad when our monster plane A380 finally takes off. This time we have great seats and Pia enjoys the view (see photos) while Thömi sleeps. The flight lasts for 13 hours and it is very pleasant and calm. After 10,892 km, we land in Zurich at 9 am in the morning. We are warmly welcomed by Janik, Christina, Cornelia, Dänu, Manu, and Jasmin! Yayyy, we are back in Switzerland and we are glad that everything went so well! An incredibly exciting, adventurous, and intense journey comes to an end, and even though we will probably miss this time soon, we are happy and excited to see our family and friends again... until the next adventure!
