As spoiled in the last blog entry, our flight is significantly delayed and a short 3.5-hour flight turns into a 13-hour journey!
The entry under corona regulations in Thailand is incredibly well-coordinated, various stations are set up, you never wait long and everything is scheduled!
In the end, we drive to our quarantine hotel, eat the first Padthai, drink the first Chang and in the morning, with the negative PCR result in our pocket, we move again for 2 nights!
Sàwàddee ká Bangkok!!
And now it's time to go to the hospital again! First, we fortunately get our booster vaccination,
and then the foot is X-rayed again - diagnosis: ankle broken 🤷♀️
We love Bangkok, missed the city a lot and now we're just excited to walk through the streets (or hobble).
However, we are also shocked at what the pandemic has done to overcrowded Bangkok. The Khaosan Road, where you used to be pushed along with the crowd instead of being able to walk, is deserted. Most bars and restaurants have had to close. Really sad!

And then the time has finally come!! Our two favorite travel buddies Coco and Andrea are visiting us for 3 weeks ❤ We can't believe it actually worked out and we'll see each other again after 7 months!
As if that weren't beautiful enough, they're not coming alone, but have a brace for the ankle and the long-awaited tobacco for Katha as well as hair care products for Ronny in their luggage!
Finally, a product that has been driving me crazy for months in all countries. Which old white man came up with this? With what thought? I imagine it like this: 'Here women, so if you have voluntarily chosen this and absolutely have to bleed once a month and have the pain of your life, buy overpriced tampons for 8 euros. Then you have a secure 6-8 hours and please be quiet afterwards!'
