20. Sinop (Turkey)

From Amasra, we drive 5 hours to Sinop and suddenly find ourselves away from civilization after a short, relaxing drive, having to chase our car on gravel roads... one eye on the potholes, one eye on the gas tank. Despite the beautiful nature, we are a bit relieved to find a proper road again after an hour!

Sinop is a peninsula, with many alleys, a harbor and small beaches.

We also take a trip to Gerze, which is 40 km away, end up at a typical vegetable market and wander through the city.

Finally, Katha's 3 most important travel items:

1. My little French Press: Every morning a great joy - coffee, coffee, coffee!

2. Our little JBL speaker: What would long drives be without Sondaschule, WIZO, Antilopengang, Feine Sahne and Co?

3. My chair: Not only super practical on the pebble beaches and in the sea, but also a better alternative to the existing seating options in many apartments!
