The approximately 4-hour drive from Durres to Ohrid was very relaxed, the roads were actually okay contrary to our expectations, and the nature was simply amazing!
In Ohrid, we are staying a bit outside the city center and have a beautiful garden with a pool (the owners have created an oasis over the past 40 years).

We take a trip by car to the Bay of Bones Museum, which reminds us a bit of the Maldives..

Our little detour to North Macedonia is over and now we are driving back to Albania where temperatures in Berat are expected to be around 43°C. We quickly packed a watermelon for the hot days,
and we say thank you North Macedonia! It was a short visit, but we got a little glimpse into the mentality of the people and we are very impressed by both them and the nature!
Lastly, we would like to greet all our loved ones back home, especially those who follow our blog (we don't really know who all of them are), we wish you a relaxed rest of the summer (which hopefully gets even warmer) and we already miss many of you! ❤
