Day 1: The first day in Buenos Aires.
Thursday 1:00 PM in Argentina, 6:00 PM in Germany. That means it's time for HIIT at the hotel's gym. (Lars will be happy)

Today was a travel day. I drove from Buenos Aires to Mar del Plata. That’s at least 400 kilometers, so it’s no small journey.
It all started with breakfast at the Marriott Buenos Aires.
After that, I was again driven by 'my' driver to the airport to pick up my rental car. I had feared a Citroen but got a Corolla IX instead. Quite a good car with Apple Car Play. Note the missing license plate, which earned me quite a few honks on the 'highway'. Furthermore, strangely enough, the toll is included in the rental agreement (Telepass). I have no idea why and how the toll booth recognizes this immediately and lets me through.
And off went the wild ride. ;)
The hotel in Mar del Plata (Gran Hotel Continental) unfortunately isn’t so great. You know these old hotels. A bit run down. No matter.
After I checked in, it was off to the track. There are plenty of good places here, like sand by the sea. Here’s my dinner.
Afterwards, I tried to find a good bar. Not so easy. Siri first directed me to a pool hall dive. I was out after 5 minutes. Then I went to a Merengue disco. Strange music, strange people. No matter, as long as it was interesting. I was back at the hotel by 2:00 AM.
I can also count the second day as a full success.
PS Why do so few people speak English here? Shouldn’t that be learned in school? But who am I to complain? I'm just a guest here.
