Hi!
You may be wondering, what is Chapa? What is Chapadmalal? And what does all of this have to do with Mar del Plata?
Chapa is simply the nickname for Chapadmalal. A real tongue twister. Chapa is fine, and everyone knows what it means.
Chapa, in turn, is a district of the city of Mar del Plata. Mar del Plata is quite extensive. This is how it reaches a population of 1 million.
Alright. That’s settled.
I have a new favorite restaurant here. It’s quite cool. In the evening, you can enjoy a burger, but in the morning, you can also have a croissant for breakfast. Okay, for me.
After breakfast, I headed to 'Luna Roja'. 'My' beach.
The Argentinians are rather pragmatic. They just built a parking lot next to the beach. 200 meters from the car, and you are at the sea.
Today was actually even nicer than yesterday. Higher waves and much more happening.
Here’s the beach from the southernmost tip. The beaches are separated by cliffs.
Good grief. The chicas. I have to get used to this. I will become a voyeur here. Maybe I should just take one with me. My new home is definitely presentable. ;)
My number 1:
I’m digressing. The next hot trend will probably be body surfing. I checked it out. Should still be manageable for an old guy like me:
Okay, dear friends.
Come visit me and we will go body surfing at Luna Roja.
