Our Sweden adventure begins

After an eventful first week of vacation, with 2 days at Europapark, 1 day at Rulantika, and a birthday party with swim rings on the Pfinz river, we are now starting our 2nd vacation with a camper.

So promptly at a little after 2, we pick up the camper in Oberderdingen and after a quick handover, we make our way back home to load everything up. But already on the drive, we notice that a plastic bracket for the middle bed frame has broken off and has been only temporarily reattached.

While Marcel loads up the camper, I head out on my bike to Yves' place to get a piece of wood and screws from the workshop, with which we can replace the broken plastic part. The 34°C humid heat is taking a toll on both of us and makes us sweat profusely.

After a professional repair, we set off a little after 5. It's not until half past 10 that we take a longer break in Northeim to have dinner. It's only 17°C here, chilly!

Today, our journey takes us all the way to Quickborn, where we lay ourselves down to sleep at a rest area with its own section for campervans around 2 o'clock.
