Rain, flood, wild sea

Published: 06.01.2017

The rain gets stronger, the rain gets weaker but it just won't give up. Now we tried our luck further south in Lamai. We had an incredibly nice and entertaining taxi driver. He quickly made up for the bad weather.

When we arrived at the Chill Inn, we were greeted very friendly and a familiar and cool atmosphere quickly prevailed. There's not much to report from these days here, except for the trip to Lamai Town by scooter. Since it was raining, we weren't sure if we should venture into left-hand traffic. But once you're determined to take the risk, it goes pretty well. We also found it very amusing to participate in the chaotic Thai traffic.

In Lamai, we had very good food and went shopping. It was pouring, just like now, right at this moment as I'm writing here, it seems everything outside is sinking again. Soon we made our way back home and spent the evening at the Chill Inn, making really good acquaintances and drinking at the bar.

Sometimes it also felt like the sea might soon overflow, but I don't like to think about that and it takes more than this 'drizzle' ;D
