São Paulo

We flew from FOZ to Sao Paulo. We could see the waterfalls from above again, impressive to see which river flows together there. Upon landing in São Paulo, we realized how large this city is with 21 million inhabitants. A damn big city. There are over 10,000 skyscrapers in the city center alone. The metropolitan area has over 45,000 skyscrapers. In São Paulo, we first visited the city park and then the skyscrapers in the financial district. Fantastic, since Sundays are car-free. There is really a lot going on, like very large street festivals.

By the way, São Paulo has more pizzerias than Rome and the worst traffic chaos in the world. We also prefer to stay in the safe neighborhoods, as some neighborhoods are extremely threatened by theft and threats.
