This morning, I casually strolled to the buffet and took in everything that looked like breakfast. Then I ordered an Uber – of course, in Brazilian style (slow but unsteady).
We headed down to the beach of Galinhas, where we were gently rocked out to sea in these charming Jangada boats. Then came the great snorkeling: watching fish, touching fish, getting a brief feel of what it's like to be the king of the seas. A true spectacle.

Food? Communication was about as fluid as a cement mixer – so quickly on to Plan B: scrounged together something edible from the supermarket.
