The first day as a married couple...Our honeymoon could begin! But for the civil recognition in Germany, we needed a so-called 'apostille', a notarized marriage certificate from the city of NY. For this, we still had three visits to government agencies to make. That's how we got to know the way New York government agencies work. Among other things, we had to go to the building of the Supreme Court of the State of NY. Not something you do every day...We had the apostille in our hands later in the afternoon. Mission successfully completed...
We spent the late afternoon in Chinatown, where we saw many delicacies like chicken feet and a Hong Kong Chinese explained the world to us with his pants open. No more 'Eeeeastä-Wesstä...'. Susi was a bit confused...😅
