Day 2 (July 9) - The marriage license must be obtained...
On our 2nd day in NYC, our goal was to obtain our so-called 'marriage license', so that we could finally get married (at the earliest 24 hours later)... Everything went...

Wednesday was dedicated to sightseeing and finding photo locations for our 'big day'. Since we needed a 'money order' for $10 anyway, the General Post Office opposite the Madison Square Garden at Penn Station (our hotel was a 5-minute walk away) seemed like the perfect choice. It's a beautiful building that looks more like a government seat. You don't treat yourself to that every day...
We quickly agreed on the Central Park and the amazing Guggenheim Museum as photo locations after the wedding. This way, we could combine nature and culture.
On the way back, we stopped by the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Equally beautiful! Since the following day is going to be eventful, we decided to end the day chilling at the hotel from the late afternoon...
