Cambodia - Siem Reap - Angkor Wat

Today was the highlight of this trip!

Angkor Wat Temple 🛕

At 4:30 am we woke up to enjoy the sunrise at the temple mentioned above. Unfortunately, the clouds in the sky spoiled our plans. Part 1 was unfortunately not as impressive as we had hoped. That's life! Then we went back to the hotel to have a proper breakfast. At around 8:30 am our guide picked us up for part 2 of the tour. Let's see how we like it?

In short - a dream!!!

The heat in the morning really wears you out quickly. There's not much you can do about it other than drinking a lot. Even though I try really hard to drink, I still have the impression that I'm sweating out a lot more than I'm drinking 🤷🏽‍♂️!

Last but not least, we took a quick look at the Bayon Temple, which is also very worth seeing.

Conclusion of the temple visits: Three days are honestly far too short for this part of the world.

One more thing! Even if many of the pictures look the same and I may be posting too many on the blog, forgive me for that, I just want to share a little of these buildings that are over 1000 years old with you.
