Verona

The last shared intermediate goal is Verona. This morning the sun is already shining at 20°. Two units have now said goodbye. We are starting together with 14 campers on the SS16 and then continuing on the Autostrada Adriatica A14. We have a distance of 245 kilometers ahead of us. 14 vehicles is quite a lot, but it works excellently. Eleven o'clock, and the temperatures rise to 23°. We pass by fruit and wine plantations as well as vegetable and salad fields. Bianca, Walli, and Harald are leaving us now; they have to go home. We continue driving, through Imola where Formula 1 is based, past Modena, where the good balsamic vinegar comes from, and we switch to the Autostrada del Sole A1, with another 120 km to go. The clouds are getting thicker, and it starts to rain. Water is standing in the fields, and the Po River is overflowing with a lot of debris. Everything is flooded. The rain is getting heavier; we have only 35 kilometers left. Verona, we are here.... and the sun is shining again.
