Day 8 and 9 Cork

Published: 07.06.2017

Yesterday I drove from the Dingle Peninsula to Cork. The host of my last stop on the hike drove me to Dingle Town after breakfast. From there, I took the bus to Tralee and then the train to Cork via Malow. From the train station, I took the bus directly to the hotel. The River Lee hotel is very nice. Actually, I don't really need such luxury on my tour. Something simpler would have been enough. Yesterday, I started exploring the city a bit. I ended the evening at the hotel bar. Today, it rained all day at 13 degrees Celsius. But I'm not going to let that stop me. I still went out after breakfast. I didn't have anything specific planned for Cork, so I just let myself wander and strolled through the city. Cork is a nice city with many small shops, cafes, and also some shopping centers. Well, I didn't come to Ireland to go shopping and I didn't do it either. I've been here before, but if someone asks me, it's not necessary to go there.

Tomorrow, I will continue to Kilkenny. I'm curious to see what else the town has to offer besides the brewery.
