Day seven… 24 km, sprinkled with good ascents. By 12:00 PM I had finished the ascent, and then it was, generously speaking, just straight ahead.
Beautiful landscape, very green, everything! I was a bit uncertain because my phone said something different than the shells by the roadside. I took a slight detour once when the signs indicated otherwise, and at the next intersection, I found Jacob's shells again indicating the way. However, the corresponding pillars no longer had any distance indication, just a note saying “C. Complementario”
I had very little company on the way by chance. However, I did meet a 91-year-old Italian from Turin who is walking the path with his wife. #Impressive
In the destination town, a kind of market was set up where you could buy clothes or hats or food items. I treated myself to the three best churros of my (so far) life. Unfortunately, I need a few new socks as my Karzl socks turned out to be unsuitable for boots. However, the lunchbox works excellently. ☺️
Today is a holiday in Spain, so everything is closed. Even the restaurants. It will be funny tonight when I have to entertain myself with yogurt and almond cookies. Luckily, I placed a non-alcoholic beer in the fridge.
