Sobrado → La Salceda
34 km · Camino Francés

Today we covered 34 km, the longest tour so far. I took a painkiller at noon and managed really well. Until the afternoon without the usual groaning... The landscape was... Actually, as always. Maybe I have gotten a bit tired of it over time; there were a few beautiful sights along the way. From noon, we were then on the shared Camino Frances. It’s noticeably different; there are more people out and about, and the infrastructure is clearly geared towards a lot more people.

Last night, on the advice of the Australians, I bought a caramel cream in the museum shop along with some cookies, which we enjoyed this morning and then used the caramel cream for churros. Extremely delicious!

Besides that, there was again a lot of coffee, just a light lunch, and now there’s dinner at a restaurant.

I'm feeling a bit nostalgic since tomorrow is already the last official day of the trip. There are only 27 km left to Santiago. Luckily, I still have the bonus stretch planned all the way to the end of the world. So, I don’t have to stop right away.

I'm very curious to see who will arrive with us tomorrow at the same time and how the Compostela will work.
