Madere Marsh Boardwalk, Mississippi

We made a little detour in nature to the Madere Marsh Boardwalk and hoped to see alligators, but we didn't see anything. Nevertheless, there were a few interesting houses that are built on stilts to protect against flood and hurricane. And we also saw a Fisherman's Castle, which looked like a small fairy tale castle. Then we crossed the Twin Span Bridge over Lake Pontchartrain into Mississippi. There we passed the John C. Stennis Space Center.
