Day 55 - Josi, Fiala, Weber and Jagr

Published: 07.01.2017

01/06/17

We wake up early today (06:20) because we have a lot planned, so this report will be a bit shorter. After breakfast and packing, we head to Marathon for snorkeling. Unfortunately, our snorkeling trip that we booked the night before does not take place at 09:00 as planned, but instead in the afternoon at 13:00. We received this information 30 minutes before check-in by email (!). The timing does not work for us as we need to be back in Miami in the evening. So we continue driving and promptly book a snorkeling trip in Key Largo for 12 o'clock. The boat takes us to Wheelers Reef, more about that in the underwater pictures :-)

We are back on land at 2:30 and continue north to BB&T-Center. Along the way, we make another short shopping stop.

Arriving in Miami Sunrise, we look for a parking spot and walk to the BB&T-Center. There we enjoy the NHL game between the Nashville Predators, with the Swiss players Roman Josi (#59), Kevin Fiala (#56) and Yannick Weber (#7), against the Florida Panthers with the Czech veteran Jaromir Jagr (#68). Jaromir Jagr is now second on the All-Time NHL Points Players list with 1,888 points, so everyone got a T-shirt :-) Let's play... We see few goals but 4 fights :-) (Florida finally wins the game 2-1)
