Über Lom to Geirangerfjord

We left Oslo behind and continued towards Lom. Lom is a really tourist center. Ideal for hiking or skiing in winter. The only attraction there is the stave church. With an entrance fee of 10 euros per person, we only walked around it once.

Afterwards, we went to a small campsite about 2km away. Here we finally met Pia and Johannes again. We have traveled partly through Albania and Greece with both of them. It was a very long evening with lots of conversations and stories. We went to bed well after midnight. As a result, we slept in for a long time. After a shared breakfast, our paths separated again. The two will continue traveling south in Norway for now, and we headed to Geirangerfjord.

We drove through the mountain pass road in the snow to Geiranger. What a sight, this magnificent nature. When we started it was 20 degrees Celsius and on the pass it was just under 14 degrees Celsius.

Once we arrived in Geiranger, we first visited the viewpoint to take the usual pictures. And then we were assigned a spot at the campsite in the town, right at the harbor. There was another huge cruise ship there. It left in the evening with a lot of noise and honking. What a spectacle.
