07/07/2016 Bergamo - Alta Citta

Alta Citta - the old town of Bergamo on the hill above the city. Our first excursion. On foot. Insanity at noon. Only the Germans would think of that. The Italians conveniently ride up on the Vespa. Well, at least we can refresh ourselves in the pool at home.

In the evening, we went to 'Downtown', down in the city center. No one here is interested in football after Italy's elimination. No public viewing... so we quickly took a taxi back to the apartment and followed Germany's elimination (European Championship) with Italian commentary. What a tragedy...
