Team building in Chinese
So after a slightly longer break we finally report back! The last two weeks flew by. We didn't even notice that it was time for 'News from the Far East' again. So let's get...

This week we noticed something very strange: on the way to work and back, individual lanes were suddenly blocked off and something grain-like was scattered on the road. Cars parked on the side of the road were simply 'treed'. Some cars and buses drove over the 'grain' despite the barriers.
But we couldn't quite explain what was being distributed.
So, we asked our local colleagues. It turned out that the local farmers spread their rice on the road to dry. When we asked if it wasn't a bit unhygienic to spread rice on a normal road, our colleagues just laughed and said it would be cleaned again.
Well, whatever.
The main thing is: there's rice!
Bon appétit, Simon and Anna
