Reisterrassen

Last weekend the Dragon Boat Festival was celebrated here including a public holiday. Together with friends, we extended it for another two days and drove to Zhejiang Province by car. We spent the first two nights in a small old town near Lishui. We went hiking nearby and strolled through old towns.

Then we went on for the next two nights to the vicinity of Yunhe, from where you can admire one of China's three most beautiful rice terraces. Luckily, we only visited the rice terraces on Tuesday, when the public holiday was officially over. So we had the terraces almost to ourselves :)
