Airlie Beach - Day 2+3

We have had two very relaxed days.

On 12.03., after a cozy, long breakfast, we escaped the heat and went to the pool.

In the late afternoon, we decided that we couldn't spend the whole day doing nothing and walked to the small town of Airlie Beach. It's a half-hour walk most of the time along the sea and past our cocktail bar. Once there, we explored the shops in search of bikinis. After Leo's successful purchase, we treated ourselves to a banana split and strolled back comfortably.

Yesterday, the 13th.03., after a pancake breakfast, we drove to the city to check in for our Whitsunday trip. Afterwards, we strolled through the remaining shops that we didn't manage to visit the day before. That's where I found something in the bikini section.

Back at the campsite, we tried out our new swimwear right away at the pool, as it was still incredibly warm in the afternoon.

We spent the evening cooking and sitting together with two other campers.

Here in Airlie Beach, we've had a proper vacation time so far, lying by the pool and strolling through the shops. 😊
