As early as we can, we leave Blackburn, as Oxford promises to be exciting. And it delivers on that promise - finally British weather! 

Aside from rain and overcast skies, the city stands in stark contrast to our recent destinations - clean, wide, bright streets, beautiful old houses, small single-family homes next to multi-story apartment complexes, every square meter, whether horizontal or vertical, looks well-kept, designed, or both. There's something special to see everywhere. 

We treat ourselves to a wonderful meal at an Ethiopian restaurant, which promises wonderful evenings with poetry, women's empowerment, and LGBTQ themes, filled with posters, pictures, and magazines.

Wow, Annika, was für traumhaft schöne Bilder! Und du musst ja schon bis obenhin gefüllt mit Eindrücken sein! Übrigens: Den "Nett hier"-Aufkleber haben wir auch in Norwegen an einem Aussichtspunkt über einem Fjord gesehen 😂
