Well well my loves, as most of you know, I've been working on a cherry field for the past three weeks. It was actually a pretty relaxed job, our two bosses (Dennis and Denise - yes, they're married and their names really are like that :D) were super laid-back and nice. It only got hot at times, up to 35 degrees, and then it was a bit gross. By 'us,' I mean Amy and me, by the way. I met Amy here on the orchard and we spent the last three weeks together, and we had a lot of fun :D The guys we worked with were also super nice and relaxed, they even sometimes gave us a bucket of cherries (we were paid by the buckets) when we had a slightly slower day. One day, we also picked nectarines and worked on the assembly line, packing the fruit. So all in all, it was a great time and a cool experience :) We also experienced a vitamin shock because we got free fruits and vegetables here, so we felt like we were eating 10 kilos of them every day. I also met Nigel (the motel owner) a few times. Here are some impressions:
